Summertime... Bloggin' Time!

Hey everyone!
It took me 2 whole days to remember how to blog from my phone! Ha Ha!
I guess since I am not working for the summer I can spend some time blogging!
So I survived another school year, barely. Holidays couldn't come fast enough but finally we are back at Tobin Lake. We are booked in from July 1st to August 22nd!
So far we have celebrated Canada Day ... With beverages, and fireworks... July 2nd with a campfire and a big waterfight and a sunburn (Tansley was RED)... Today with the afternoon at the beach, Rider game and now we are getting ready for a fish fry... Courtesy of the fishermen who were busy fishing the morning!

Now I need to figure out how to post pictures from my phone! LOL

The Second Weekend in June.....

I just checked my calendar and the second weekend in June is my next free weekend!!!! Gee I wonder what I will do that weekend... oh, wait, that is June... pretty sure I will be marking!  Now don't get me wrong, I am happy that we are a busy family... it means my kids are involved in things and that we have the means to go places.

Being busy is pretty much my life these days. It is dance season. Makenna is taking two dance exams this week (Jazz and Ballet) and then we are heavy into dance competition season.  I love this time of year. We get to see some pretty interesting locations... Rose Valley and Tisdale!!! Yep, we are hitting the BIG time! LOL Makenna's birthday is during the Rose Valley Dance competition... nothing better than dancing on your birthday.  She is a little bummed because she doesn't get to have a birthday party with her friends this year... but I promised we would make it up to her during our trip to the West Edmonton Mall this Easter... she thought that was a good trade!

I haven't updated here for a while so I thought I would share some pictures of what we have been up to in the last couple months....

My dad has also started blogging. Check out his blog: Hook, Line and Sinker.  His entries are inspiring me to get back onto my blog... now if I could only think of something to talk about... my life is so boring! hee heee! (any suggestions?)

AUGH... I just realized that I deleted all of Shallen's 2nd birthday pictures!!!! BAD MOMMA!!!!

We survived the 7 x 2 year itch!!!!

Yep, 14 years and four kids ago Mike and I got married!
We aren't doing anything special for the big day since the girls and I are in Camrose Alberta visiting auntie Robyn and uncle Charles, while Mike is at home doing the ice for the seniors bonspiel.
Now don't feel badly for us... I get to go Ikea tomorrow!!! Ok, maybe you should feel badly for Mike! Ha ha!
I am very lucky that my girls travel so well. We drove all the way from Nipawin to Camrose with only one stop! Of course, my mom, who is with us, pointed out that since the kids have DVD system in the van, iPods and DSs they aren't as bored as we were as kids.
Makenna, who is 10 going on 13, has only told me that she hates me once so far so that's not too bad! :( You know that whenever things go wrong it is always the mom's fault!!! However, since then she has been really good. That could be because she knows we are hitting Edmonton for some shopping tomorrow!
I wasn't planning on going to Ikea but Rhiannon asked if we could go to their play center so since I am such a good mom I will sacrifice myself and go to Ikea!!! :)
Today I hit some consignment stores with Robyn and bought her cloth diaper supplies and what not for the baby... This is not helping my baby fever!!!!

Other than that we are spending a lot of time watching curling!! Go Saskatchewan go!!!!

Blogging apps

Trying out some new blogging apps for my iPod touch. I had posted two blogs yesterday but they got lost in cyberland! How frustrating!!
Now trying a new app before I type out a whole new blog!!!

Miss me?

Hello all!!!!
Life has been as busy as normal at our house but right now we are on February break so I am hoping to get some blogging done!
We have had two birthdays this month with Rhiannon turning 8 and Shallen turning 2!
We are all packed and ready to go to Auntie Robyn's house in Camrose tomorrow after the thinking day tea.
When we return I hope to update the blog! Sorry I have been neglecting all my dedicated followers! Ha ha!
Now that I can blog from my iPod touch maybe I will find more time when I am playing with my toy!!!
